How to Make Your Little Critters

  1. Start by cutting out pictures of various characters from kid magazines. Alternatively, you and your children can draw your own fun characters on paper. Make sure the drawings include a head and body, but no legs.

  2. Glue the pictures or your drawings onto pieces of cardboard for sturdiness. Use your scissors to carefully cut the characters out.

  3. Draw two small circles where the character's legs should be. These circles will be where your kid's fingers will go, so ensure they are evenly spaced.

  4. Punch two holes in the circles using scissors or a hole punch. Encourage your child to insert their index and middle fingers into the holes. Their fingers act as the legs, bringing their characters to life!

  5. Let the Fun Begin!

Ask your kids to show how their character walks, sits, jumps, or even dances. Watch their excitement as they explore different movements and roles!

This simple yet engaging activity can spark endless fun and creativity for your little ones. Plus, it gives you a few moments of peace while they are engrossed in their imaginative play.
