💡 Inspiration

How to Make It:
Start by folding the paper plate in half to create the basic shape of the bag. If your child wants to get creative, they can trim the edges into fun shapes.
Now comes the fun part—decorating! Let your child’s imagination take the lead. They can color, paint, or even add stickers to make the bag truly their own.
Once the decorating is done, glue or staple the edges together, leaving the top open. You’ve got the basic structure of the bag ready.
Cut a piece of string or ribbon to make a handle, then attach it to the top of the bag. It’s easy to secure with a bit of glue, tape or a few staples. You can also punch holes where the strings will go through.
To give it that extra special touch, feel free to add any other decorations like glitter, buttons, or fabric scraps.
Why You’ll Love It:
There’s something special about turning simple materials into something fun and useful. This paper plate bag isn’t just a craft—it’s a great opportunity for your child to express themselves and create something they can proudly carry around. Plus, it’s an easy project that doesn’t take much time, making it perfect for an afternoon of creative play.
