Moms Morning Memo

Activity of the Day
Sock Caterpillars

What You Need
Socks
Elastics
Googly Eyes
Pipe Cleaner
Stuffing – Got an old pillow? This works perfectly!
💡 Inspiration
Step-by-Step Process
Make the head ball slightly bigger and the tail ball slightly smaller. Roll flattened pillow stuffing to fluff it up.
Work the largest stuffing ball into the toe of the sock. Pinch the sock tightly around the ball and secure it with an elastic. Add the remaining balls and secure each with an elastic until the sock is filled.
Secure the tail end with a final elastic.
Place a pipe cleaner under the worm's head. Wrap it around and twist the ends into spirals.
Glue googly eyes to the front of the worm, right over the toe seam.
Your no-sew sock worm is now ready to bring smiles to everyone around! Experiment with different sock patterns and colors for more adorable creatures.
More Crafting Tips
Recycle old pillow stuffing to save on materials.
Tiny hair elastics or Rainbow Loom elastics work great for holding everything together.
Kids can do most of this craft themselves with minimal supervision
Crafts your kids can actually use 💡
Make your own bowls (decorating them is the BEST part)
The Forever Hug (it’s a crowd favorite for a reason)
Cardboard TV (literally screen time minus the screen 😆)
These activities got soooooo much love ❤️
