Activity of the Day
Paper Bag Vest

What You Need:
One sturdy paper bag
Scissors
Trader Joe's bags are a fantastic size for toddlers and young children, but any grocery bag will work. Choose one that fits your child best!
Step-by-Step Process:
Start by cutting straight up the middle of one broad side of the bag.
Cut an opening at the bottom of the bag for the head and neck. It doesn't need to be a perfect circle—just make sure it's centered so it fits comfortably over the child's head.
Cut arm holes on each side of the bag, ensuring they are large enough for easy movement. Use the bag's natural folds to help you find the center. The top of the arm holes should be about 1/2" to 1" from the bottom of the bag (which will become the top of the vest).
And just like that, the basic vest is ready! Easy peasy, right?

Time to Personalize!
The most fun part is decorating! Whether you use paint, markers, stickers, or colored construction paper, the possibilities are endless. The vest could be covered in orange stripes for a tiger look, adorned with stars for a space explorer, or decorated with crosses for a doctor.
Paper Bag Vests are a fantastic way to keep kids entertained and let their imaginations soar. Grab some supplies and start crafting today—who knows what amazing characters they'll come up with!
Crafts your kids can actually use 💡
Make your own bowls (decorating them is the BEST part)
The Forever Hug (it’s a crowd favorite for a reason)
Cardboard TV (literally screen time minus the screen 😆)
These activities got soooooo much love ❤️
