DIY Phone Stand
Moms Morning Memo
Looking for a fun and easy project to do with the kids? At this point, that’s not really a question, right? Of course you are!
One of the best things about kids is that they always have the purest intentions when it comes to making other people happy. So today, we’ll be handcrafting the perfect gift idea! This handmade phone stand is great for some bonding time and results in a useful accessory - yes, we’ll be making an actual phone stand.
Activity of the Day
DIY Phone Stand

Things You’ll Need:
Popsicle sticks
Clothespins
Glue gun (adult supervision required)
Marker
Step-by-Step Process:
Arrange 8 popsicle sticks in a row to form the base.
This part’s for the grownups - use the glue gun to secure the sticks. Kids, you can help plan the layout!
Glue two clothespins upright at either end of the base. These will hold your phone.
Kids should watch closely here; handling the glue gun is for adults.
Insert a popsicle stick into the clips of the clothespins. This bar keeps the phone from sliding off.
Glue another clothespin on top of each original clothespin to make the stand taller. Again, adults handle the glue, and kids can help position the pieces.
Attach 2-3 popsicle sticks horizontally across the top clothespins. These will support the phone.
Kids, you can help press and hold the sticks in place while they dry - but be careful! The glue is HOT!
Pro Tip:
Glue gun is preferred to make the craft more sturdy but you can use any type of glue you have at home. This way, your little ones can take full control of the activity!
Why You’ll Love This
This project is perfect for spending quality time with the kids. They’ll love helping out and seeing the final product in action. The end result is a practical stand that’s perfect for video calls, streaming, or simply keeping the phone handy. Something you both can use for when you allow a bit of screentime OR a super thoughtful gift to anyone close to your hearts.

Crafts your kids can actually use 💡
Make your own bowls (decorating them is the BEST part)
The Forever Hug (it’s a crowd favorite for a reason)
Cardboard TV (literally screen time minus the screen 😆)
These activities got soooooo much love ❤️
