Hidden Ink
Moms Morning Memo
Let’s have some fun with this cool invisible ink activity that’s super easy to do with the kids. It’s a little bit of science, a dash of creativity, and a whole lot of fun rolled into one.
Activity of the Day

What You’ll Need:
2 tablespoons of baking soda
1 cup of water
Cotton swabs
Paper
Juice (any kind you’ve got in the fridge)
💡 Inspiration
Here’s How It Goes:
Combine the baking soda and water in a small bowl. This is your secret ink!
Dip a cotton swab in the mix and start writing your message on the paper. You’ll see it as you write because of the moisture, but once it dries, it’ll disappear—like magic!
Give the paper a few minutes to dry completely. Now, your message is hidden and ready for the big reveal.
Grab another cotton swab, dip it in some juice, and gently brush it over the paper. Watch the excitement as the hidden message starts to appear. Hold it up to the window, and it looks even cooler.
Why You’ll Love This
This is such a fun and simple way to spend some quality time together. The kids will love the mystery of it all, and you’ll love how easy it is to set up. Plus, it’s a great way to sneak in a little learning while they’re having a blast.
These previous activities got soooo much love!
