Step-by-step Process:

  1. Take several paper plates and cut out the centers to create rings. Depending on the age and skill of your children, they can help with this step under supervision.

  2. Have fun coloring or painting your rings and the cardboard tube. Go wild with colors, add stripes, spots, or any designs you like. Make it bright and festive!

  3. Secure the cardboard tube to a base that can hold it upright. You could tape it to a heavy piece of cardboard or insert it into a clay pot filled with stones or sand for stability.

  4. Once everything is dry and set up, take turns tossing the rings onto the tube. See who can get the most rings around the target!

Why we love this activity:

Building and playing with your ring toss game encourages hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and can help teach young kids about aim and distance. It's a wonderful way to turn crafting time into an active, engaging challenge that gets everyone up and moving.

Not only is this game great for family time, but it can also be a fantastic addition to any children’s party or gathering. It’s easy to transport and set up, so you can bring the fun wherever you go!
