Things You’ll Need:
Paper plates
Blue paint or blue tissue paper
Glue
Scissors
Colored paper or craft foam (for goldfish and seaweed)
Markers or crayons
Googly eyes (optional)
Glitter or sequins (optional for extra sparkle)
Step-by-step Process
Start by painting the bottom of a paper plate blue to represent water. Alternatively, you can glue blue tissue paper onto the plate for a textured look.
Cut out goldfish shapes from colored paper or craft foam. Decorate them with markers or crayons, and add googly eyes if you have them. You can make as many goldfish as you like.
Cut strips of green paper or craft foam to create seaweed. Glue these onto the bottom of the blue area on your paper plate.
Glue your goldfish onto the blue section of the paper plate, arranging them however you like. Add any additional decorations, such as glitter or sequins, to enhance your underwater scene.
If you want to add a rim to your goldfish bowl, cut a circular frame from another paper plate and glue it around the edge of your underwater scene.
