  2. Use a stick or metal ring as the base for your wind chimes. If you like, paint or decorate it to give it a personal touch.

  3. Cut varying lengths of string or fishing line. Tie one end of each string to your chosen objects and the other end to the base. Make sure the strings are different lengths so the chimes can move freely and create a variety of sounds.
