Today, we're diving into a musical crafting adventure! We're making DIY musical instruments that are super easy and loads of fun. This activity is a fantastic way to introduce your kids to music and get their creative juices flowing.

Crafty Musical Instruments
Three easy-to-make instruments for endless fun.

What you’ll need:
Plastic Egg Maracas
Plastic eggs
Two plastic spoons
Tape
Dried beans or rice
Paper Plate Tambourines
Two paper plates
Dried beans or pasta
Staples
Paper Towel Tube Kazoos
Paper towel tube
Wax paper
Rubber band
Creating Your Musical Ensemble:
Maracas Magic: Fill a plastic egg with beans or rice, tape it between two spoons, and shake away!
Tambourine Tunes: Sandwich beans or pasta between two paper plates, staple around the edges, and you've got a tambourine.
Kazoo Concert: Cover one end of a paper towel tube with wax paper secured by a rubber band, and hum your favorite tunes.
These homemade instruments are a great way to explore sounds and rhythms. They encourage your kids to experiment with music and discover the joy of creating something from scratch.
